Acoustic Neuromas

The Vanderbilt Skull Base Center treats acoustic neuromas, which are slow-growing benign tumors that can cause hearing loss, imbalance, ringing in the ear, and/or weakness or numbness in your facial nerves. Our expert team of neurotologists and neurosurgeons performs more acoustic neuroma procedures than all other Tennessee hospitals combined. The Vanderbilt Skull Base Center is one of a few acoustic neuroma treatment centers in the United States and we are the largest volume cochlear implant center in the country.
