Medical Infusion
Overview
Vanderbilt Health offers a range of medical infusion therapies to our current patients. Medical infusion is a way of giving medicine or nutrients straight into the bloodstream with a small tube or needle. It's used to treat lots of different conditions, like infections, problems with the immune system, and not getting enough nutrients. It's faster and more effective than taking medicine by mouth because it goes straight into the body. This treatment can save lives and help people feel better quickly.
Appointments must be scheduled through a Vanderbilt Health physician's office. If you are not yet seeing a Vanderbilt Health provider, your physician must refer you to one of our specialists to establish your care before you can access infusion services.
