Therapeutic Movement Program
Boost your health and wellbeing by joining the movement program at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt. Our movement program provides Qigong, Tai Chi and Yoga through ongoing group classes, specialty series and individual therapeutic sessions.
Our Movement Program is designed to support your path to wellbeing. Our movement practitioners are experienced in attending to individual needs, creating a safe and supportive environment. These movement modalities use gentle movement, breathing, mindful awareness and meditation to help your whole self.

Movement Classes: Which class is right for me?
- Movement 1 (M1)
Classes to facilitate healing the whole self, including increasing safety, comfort and ease. Appropriate for those with limited mobility and in need of additional support.
- Movement 2 (M2)
Classes to facilitate regulation of the whole self, including mobility, connection and attention. Appropriate for those comfortable moving on their own.
- Movement 3 (M3)
Classes to facilitate stability, including strength, balance and focus. Appropriate for those with prior movement experience.
- Specialty Movement Series
These 6-week series focus on addressing specific conditions. Appropriate for those sharing the same concern with different abilities and movement experience.
