Cancer prevention and screening
Overview
We don’t just treat cancer. We help people understand how to prevent cancer, how to face it, and how to live a full, happy life during and after treatment. Screening and risk management are important parts of our mission. In addition to prevention counseling and education for those at risk of cancer or looking to reduce their cancer risk, we offer cancer screening programs and events around Middle Tennessee.

Getting screened for certain cancers can lead to better results, because when we detect cancer earlier, we can treat it more successfully.
Knowing your risk factors for certain cancers and when to begin regular screenings is an important part of staying healthy. Talk to your doctor about your family history, medical history and lifestyle to determine when you should begin screenings. Cancer screenings we offer include:
- Childhood cancer screenings
- Genetic risk testing
- Head and neck screening
