Why Choose the Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Program at Vanderbilt
- Innovation
We are the only program in the region to offer intensive outpatient services for young adults. In many cases, you may have access to treatments and techniques that aren’t available at other hospitals.
- Convenient care
Our convenient location means students at Vanderbilt University, Belmont University and Lipscomb University can easily take part in our program. Interpreter services help some patients’ families better understand and participate in group therapy.

Our life-skills workshops help young adults learn to manage the stresses of college and work.
- Group-based therapy
Process groups, skills groups based on evidence-based therapy, and multi-family groups teach patients to manage their mental health concerns.
