Pregnancy Care and Delivery

The Vanderbilt Pregnancy Care and Delivery team has the skills and experience to provide the expert care you want for yourself and your baby. You’re bringing a new, one-of-a-kind life into the world. From prenatal care through delivery, we’re here with care and support.

When you arrive on the main campus of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, go to the entrance of our Emergency Department. Your support person will need to park in the east garage across from the hospital. An ED nurse will welcome you and escort you to our labor area, which is on the fourth floor.

Our clinics offer general and specialized obstetric care, midwifery care and maternal-fetal medicine services. Support and Education Resources

The safety and well-being of our patients, families, staff and communities is our highest priority. Because of the risk of influenza and coronavirus (COVID-19) all of our in-person childbirth education classes are now being offering virtually in collaboration with Vanderbilt Birth Center and with Vanderbilt Nurse-Midwives. These classes and support are available to all registrants. We will evaluate our patients' needs as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves.
