She was absolutely amazing. She answered all of my questions and helped put me at ease for my procedure. She was very thorough and explained everything throughout the process.

Though I'm sure she has hundreds of patients, Dr Dowell takes the time to make notes on my personal well being, engaging by asking me how I'm doing, what I'm reading, etc. She makes a concerted effort to connect, though I only see her one time a year.

There was no discussion of treatment plan if my labs came back with an issue.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Dowel. I've had other gynecologists, and she is truly outstanding. She is extremely patient with all my questions. She explains each phase of the procedure before she proceeds. She goes out of her way to put me at ease and ensure I'm as comfortable as I can be. She speaks clearly in plain English so I can understand everything from beginning to end. I feel like she truly cares about the health and wellness of her patients, but she also cares about them as people. To her, I'm not just another cervix. To her, I'm a person. I feel incredibly fortunate to have a her as a doctor.

She creates a space that feels safe and supportive, and her calm, reassuring presence has made a meaningful difference during vulnerable moments.She listens closely, never rushes appointments, and is incredibly thoughtful and thorough in her approach. While always maintaining the highest level of professionalism, she has a way of making patients feel truly cared for on a human level: comfortable, understood, and supported. I have complete trust in her and am deeply grateful for the care she provides.
