We offer ongoing support services to ensure that you find the support you need to feel better, physically and emotionally. In many of our specialized programs, our patient navigators can help you obtain medical records, schedule appointments, address questions or concerns and assist with lodging. We can also connect you to support services, support groups and other community resources.

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) designates us as a Comprehensive Cancer Center, the highest ranking by the world’s leading authority on cancer. We are the only one in Tennessee that conducts research and cares for adults and children with cancer.
- National Comprehensive Cancer Network
We are a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), a non-profit alliance of 32 of the world's leading cancer centers who have come together to improve care for cancer patients everywhere.
- NCI National Clinical Trials Network
We are a Lead Academic Participating Site within the National Cancer Institute's National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN). The NCTN is the world's largest oncology clinical trials network, coordinating and supporting cancer clinical trials across the United States and internationally.
Patient Resources
Patient and Family-Centered Care
Our Patient and Family-Centered Care programs help cancer patients and caregivers make informed decisions about their cancer care – and provide opportunities to get involved in research and advocacy. Located within The Vanderbilt Clinic (1st Floor, Henry-Joyce Clinic), our trained staff offers one-on-one help, free brochures, pamphlets and access to online information. We also help patients and families access local and national resources including lodging assistance, financial or legal help, support services and social workers.
Our current programs include the Patient and Family Resource Center, Patient Advocacy Program, Young Adults With Cancer Initiative, Patient and Family Resource Center, E-Advisory Council, Research Advocacy and Volunteering.
