Vanderbilt Hematology, part of Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, treats patients with cancerous and noncancerous blood disorders. Our team of doctors, nurses and staff is committed to providing quality care for you and your family while you are going through a blood disorder treatment, such as a blood stem cell or bone marrow transplant (BMT). Our care teams include nurse practitioners, clinical and research nurses, genetic counselors, pharmacists and other specialists to provide a more accurate diagnosis and the most effective treatment options for you.

Many of our providers treat children and adults with blood disorders. We work with your other doctors to help you transition from pediatric care to adult care and to create a care plan that meets your unique health goals and needs.

We offer ongoing services to ensure that you find the support you need to feel better, physically and emotionally. We also can assist you with lodging and locating community resources.
- Care coordinators
Our specialized transplant, program and intake coordinators guide you through your care plan. They can help you schedule appointments, gather medical records, address concerns and coordinate your care among all the specialists involved in your treatment.
