Conditions We Treat

We treat all interstitial lung disease center conditions, including:

  • Asbestosis
  • Coal workers’ pneumoconiosis (black lung disease)
  • Connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease
  • Hypersensitivity pneumonitis, such as farmer’s lung

    We help pioneer new approaches to care through scientific research, some funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health. Our team discovered a gene that helps doctors better understand inherited idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. We also collect blood and tissue samples for patient registries so doctors everywhere can better understand interstitial lung disease.
