Cystic Diseases of the Kidney
Cystic diseases of the kidney (CKD) are fairly rare compared with other types of kidney conditions. We offer FDA-approved therapies for CKD. Vanderbilt nephrologists were lead researchers and clinicians in the development of these medications. We continue to work for improved treatments for people affected by these diseases.
Conditions We Treat
We treat all cystic kidney diseases and related conditions, including:
- Angiomyolipoma (AML) of the kidney
- Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease
- Kidney cysts associated with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) or lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM)
