My doctor is wonderful. I am very happy to be under her care for my Kidneys.

I always feel heard during appt's. She provides great learning environment with other residents in attendance. I definitely miss when I have to see the NP instead.

Excellent doctor who shows compassion and concern for me as a patient.

Just like Dr. Stevens, Dr. Salani was excellent. She helped me put my issues in perspective and explained how we would address those issues. I am very pleased and excited to have her as my doctor.

He is also an awesome doctor and I'm glad he's staying at VUMC in the future.

Dr. Stephens was great (a resident)- very thoughtful and listening. On a personal note- I can't dwell in all of the depressing aspects of having kidney disease. I know the risks this disease, so I usually want factual objectivity. I felt the exact opposite for Dr. Salani, who entered saying I hate to meet you under these circumstance, as if my existence is a burden to me. I informed here that we're going to be positive today. Her energy kept bringing down the mood/energy. She made the disease/the reality worse, guaranteed.
