Anne Ammons joined the Center for Human Nutrition in 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Georgia State University and completed her dietetic internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Anne has been practicing as a dietitian for over 10 years and has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, rehabilitation and oncology. Since joining CHN, she has specialized in parenteral nutrition support and is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. She enjoys collaborating with other team members to provide the best care for our patients.
Alie is responsible for the growth of the celiac disease clinic as well as patient advocacy, support and educational programming. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Delaware. She is currently working on her Master of Arts in the Social Foundations of Health at Vanderbilt University. She is passionate about health equity and improving patient quality of life, and her work and research reflects these interests.
Jennifer Bobo is a certified medical surgical registered nurse who joined the Vanderbilt Center for Human Nutrition in 2024. For the last 25 years, Jennifer has practiced nursing in acute care, physical rehabilitation and surgical specialties. She enjoys providing education and training to instill patient confidence.
Sarah is a clinical pharmacist specialist on the adult nutrition support team and in the burn ICU. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University and then completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at East Alabama Medical Center and a PGY-2 critical care pharmacy residency with an emphasis in nutrition support at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center/Regional One Health. She is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Burn Association, and serves on the Board of Pharmacy Specialties Nutrition Support Pharmacy Specialty Council. Her interests include nutrition support in critically ill adults, medication safety and nutrition support education.
Ezzy joined VUMC in March 2024. She is a graduate of the U.S. Career Institute as a medical assistant and has previous experience as a patient care tech in a hospice environment. Prior to that she worked in hospitality management.
Gay joined the Center for Human Nutrition in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from Western Kentucky University and Master of Science in community nutrition at Eastern Kentucky University. Anne has been practicing as a dietitian for over 30 years and has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, private practice, diabetes and weight management. Her focus is on inpatient care with parenteral nutrition support and intestinal failure.
