Though I appreciate the doctor's experience, I was told by my primary care physician to see a plastic surgeon. I have no clue why, when I thought it would be for a general surgeon to evaluate and determine from the ultra sound and MRI to determine if there was pressure from the lipoma on blood vessels or nerves. The doctor spent no more than 2-or-3 minutes looking at the MRI outside the room and then consulting 5 minutes with me. He said he thought the lipoma was in the muscle but wouldn't know unless he was in a hospital and performing surgery with better equipment than at their office and it would be a 5 cut. Just disappointed about his bedside manners and that I am concerned about hiking 10-to-12 miles a day for 7 days in high elevation and was hoping it would not exacerbate the lipoma. I was not concerned about looks but concerned what the lipoma is affecting my thigh and surrounding muscle.

Absolutely no negative comments.The Dr.& Staff listened to my concerns and answered every question . Dr. Summitt was very good & I appreciate his mannerism and expertise.

Dr Blair was great too. Also very chatty and keeping me distracted but also explains what he was doing through every step too.
