Outstanding care

Dr was very dismissive and not concerned with the issues I've had for 2 years. He stated that he had never heard of some of the what feels like heart palpitations and I have a hiatal hernia that seems to be pressing on my lungs and heart He also told me that if my weight goes up ten more pounds I wouldn't be a candidate for this surgery. I thought to myself, there are way bigger people than me even working in hospitals! I was so taken back by his comments especially since he interned at Mayo Clinic and even their web site states that you can have what feels like a heart attack with this type of hernia. I walked out of that office feeling defeated and totally dismissed. If this doctor is training people, he needs better chair side manner. I even had to ask him if he had seen my barium swallow??? He then pulled it up on his screen so I could see my results. Unimpressed with this guy and won't be back!

Listened to my concerns and addressed each question one by one. Extremely knowledgeable and you just get the feeling that he is attentive to you fears, concerns and wants to put you at ease!! I would highly recommend Dr. Broucek!!!
