If buttock implant surgery is found to be your best option, the implants are placed through an incision in the midline between your buttocks or by an incision made underneath the buttocks.
If fat injections can better achieve your desired results, then your surgeon will discuss the areas on your body from which fat will be removed, typically around the abdominal area. Once harvested, your body fat is then purified and reinjected into your buttocks.
