Eligibility and Enrollment

Eligibility and enrollment requirements vary by employer, and our patient navigators can walk you through the process and help schedule your first appointment.

How It Works

  • Once you are confirmed eligible for the bundle, the patient navigator schedules you for an ortho consult to confirm that  surgery is the best next step for you.
  • Pre-surgery education will help you prepare for the procedure.
  • Surgery will typically involve an an outpatient procedure, but in some cases will involve an overnight stay.
  • You will participate in physical therapy and rehabilitation services as directed by your physician.

Duration

Bundle coverage begins upon bundle enrollment and from the initial patient consultation with an eligible VUMC surgeon. It ends 12 weeks after the joint replacement procedure.
