Spine therapy
Overview
The Vanderbilt outpatient spine team consists of both physical therapists and athletic trainers who, under the prescription of a physician, work closely together to ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of professional, comprehensive care. We have members that are experienced and have expertise in manual therapy techniques, pain management, core strengthening, exercise-based therapeutic procedures and returning patients to all previous activities, including sports and occupation.
Our team treats a variety of diagnoses, including strains, sprains, arthritis, disc problems, fibromyalgia and post-surgical concerns. We help guide and educate our patients on maximizing their strength, flexibility, endurance and functional ability. Our goal is to assist our patients in returning to their prior level of activity or to their highest level of functioning.
