Why Choose Neurodiagnostics Lab at Vanderbilt
- Convenient care
We offer ease of access and scheduling. We can often accommodate same-day appointments.
- Unmatched epilepsy expertise
Vanderbilt is recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers as the only Level 4 Epilepsy Center for adults in Tennessee. Vanderbilt also has the largest Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) in Tennessee, with eight adult and four pediatric monitoring beds.
- Depth of experience
We are the only facility in the area with the expertise to train technicians. This means our team has a higher level of skill, experience and knowledge than you can find in other diagnostic labs.
- Comprehensive care
We offer the most comprehensive range of tests in the region, including specialized and rare studies available nowhere else. This includes the ambulatory electroencephalogram (EEG). This study monitors brain activity over 24 to 72 hours to identify symptom triggers that might not happen during a shorter period in the lab.
