Was impressed with the doctor, he took his time explaining my issue so I understood. So I could make a better decision.

This was a short visit because I had scheduled it just to ask a few questions. But Dr Walker or his NP's always spend enough time with you and listen to your concerns.

I have already recommended Dr. Walker and Vanderbilt Pain Management to everyone I know who struggles with pain issues. Dr. Walker treats me like a valued member of the care team, and seems invested in my continued progress. It is apparent that Dr. Walker reads the patient notes before entering the room, as he started the visit by asking specific questions about my progress since our last visit. He sets the tone for the entire visit as soon as he walks into the exam room by greeting me with a smile and asking how I am.

Dr Walker was really great at devising a treatment plan during the visit and explaining its benefits.

Dr. Walker is always very attentive to my concerns. He fully explains what may be causing my issues, and offers choices or what I may be able to do at home for relief. He also goes over procedures with risks/benefit analysis.
