The NP was in a bad mood from the first moment of the visit. When she asked me how I'd been doing I told her that after not getting anywhere for a couple of months, I tried cutting back 300 more calories per day for two months. The NP became enraged and stopped listening to me. She said that I was wrong to have tried something new without her permission and the she didn't care about me losing weight- that she was there only to make certain that I was healthy. I argued that a provider in that clinic should care about both weight and health, which made her even more mad. She then fired me as a patient saying that I should see a different provider at the clinic. I had been drinking 70 oz of water daily to which she said ok exercising (weights and walking) - I got another ok. Horrible experience!

Hanah is very knowledgeable about her job, the latest meds, treatments, what other meds I'm on, what could possibly react together, she's very, concerned about my overall well being, am I sleeping, eating enough protein, drinking enough water, getting enough exercise, etc.. I realize this is her job, but she genuinely wants to see progress, wants to make sure I myself am doing well. She's not just going through a list of questions on a screen. She talks to me as a person., she looks at me when she's speaking.
