About William M. Sullivan
William M. Sullivan, MD, MEd, is an internist and pediatrician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) and Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics. He joined Vanderbilt Executive Wellness and Concierge Medicine in 2023.
Dr. Sullivan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Founder’s Medal for First Honors and the Canby Robinson Society Ideal Physician Award. During medical school he earned a master’s degree in education at the Peabody College of Education at Vanderbilt University. He completed his internship and residency at VUMC in internal medicine and pediatrics, and he also served an additional year as the Hugh J. Morgan Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Sullivan is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, and since 2018 he has been a practicing member of the Vanderbilt teaching faculty, as well as an assistant residency program director. Dr. Sullivan is pursuing additional training and board certification in lifestyle medicine.
