Loved Dr. Stephens. Explained the problems with my neck and back to my husband very well.

The doctor was very patient and listened and answered questions. He did not seem rushed and seemed genuinely interested in my care.

After meeting the Intern, doctor and Student I have never in my 77 years of live have never had such a good gut felling about the doctor and associates related to my forthcoming surgery.

The doctor dismissed my concerns and was mocking when I became upset by the intent of even more delays, expecting me to understand immediately his lingo and timelines. Then when expressing the deep concern of my quality of life and pain levels, that affect my concerns with delaying treatment, after already having to wait over 2 years, being left in lingo, he attempted to brush off those concerns like they were unimportant and my pain and inability to do almost anything has left me without being able to have a quality of life anyone would want.

The assistant/student doctor was very good at asking pertinent questions, but the specialist Doctor didn't appear to connect my symptom's with the mri findings. So he decided to send me to another doctor for further evaluation and treatment .I will reconsider this plan as I'm not feeling comfortable with this experience. Got the feeling my mri wasn't even reviewed. Could be wrong. I will start over with my PCP In the coming weeks.Meanwhile I still live In pain.
