I had an artery blow open in my nose while I was explaining my problem to the doctor. I was literally pumping blood out of my nose. He handled my emergency situation with calmness and professionalism. Got things under control, then cauterized the vein.

Dr Schuster is literally my favorite medical care provider. I see a lot of medical providers at Vanderbilt, Heritage, and HCA, as well as some independent doctors. No one shows the level of personal care and concern, as well as the capacity and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to investigate my issues and provide the most thorough responses, as Dr. Schuster does. He is exceptional. Truly he is. I am immensely grateful for him.

He was through and I left confident of trying his treatment.

I recently had my third in my lifetime, hearing examination by an audiologist in Dr. Shuster's department. I did not understand the report that I could see on My Health at Vanderbilt. Dr. Shuster took time to explain the report to me and why I can hear some sounds and not others. He is a fabulous, patient, kind, professional and I feel blessed to be able to have his wise counsel.
