Dr. Patel fully explained my medical condition and the potential causes of it. He explained future medical treatment options and my next appointment. He repeatedly asked me if I understood and if I had any questions. He's the best!!!

Dr Patel is always focused and concerned I understand answers to my questions. He is not rushed or distracted. He explains plan of care and follows up in timely manner. His bedside manner is exemplary even on a telehealth visit. He incorporates all facets of care to reach maximum possibilities of wellness. That includes not only medical but mental, psychological, exercise, nutrition and spiritual when appropriate. He is empathetic and compassionate. Dr Patel is the most gifted Dr I have ever had in any practice of medicine. He excels in all areas of his deliverance of medical care. Vanderbilt is so fortunate to have him there representing your institution. I would easily and certainly highly recommend him to anyone that needed blood cancer treatment.
