First visit was a whirlwind. Did not feel totally heard.

Went in for a check up. My doctor retired so this was a first visit. First, the doctor asked me why I was there. . Things that weren't present - ears and hearing not tested, no urinalysis, asked if I wanted blood work, eyes not checked, asked to stick out tongue from a distance, no EKG, checked lungs for about 5 seconds. I'm so disappointed that I wasted my annual check up allotment from insurance on this visit. I expected a full check up and got this weird half way look see. Sadly, I will be looking for another primary care doctor

I felt like she listened to me, but the actual exam was fairly limited.

Dr. Neuwitz was wonderfully engaged and perceptive. In addition, I was impressed by her thoroughness and diligence.

Dr. Newitz was awesome! She was very, very thorough and scheduled some tests to make sure my concerns were addressed. She also suggested a couple of tests based on what she saw in my records. I feel as if I am already in great hands and this was my first visit. I am SO impressed with Vanderbilt Health and have been telling everyone about my experience.
