She spent alot of time with me! Was attentive, listened, really cares about my health and my wellbeing outside the hospital. Hands down one of the doctor's I've ever had! Highly recommend her as a heart doctor! :)

Dr Mendes is an excellent cardiologist and I feel lucky to have her! She listened very well about the concerns raised by anesthesiologist prior to my two GI procedures. We discussed my symptoms, severe abdominal pain and the medication I took. I feel like the pain is from my GI issues and not cardiac. Dr Mendes determined my pain is from GI issues and gave me clearance for the two procedures. I now know not to take nitroglycerin for the pain as it is abdominal not the heart. I would absolutely recommend Dr Lisa Mendes and her staff for anyone with heart failure and many medical conditions. Will see her again!!
