Dr Melissa Kaufman was kind, helpful and professional.

My appointment went very well. Dr. Kauffman was extremely knowledgeable and listened very well. She's compassionate and offered me good options for my problems. I think she's an excellent doctor.

Its seldom I feel confident with the medical profession, especially considering the urology diagnosis and prognosis of the original provider as it concerned a neurogenic bladder. Dr Kaufman provided a path forward with more than one option. I have confidence that her years of experience in this field will provide me the best outcome for the planned prodecure and that will be done with knowledge and wisdom. Since my medical issue not only affects me but my wife if 33 years, then Dr. Kaufmankindly included my wife in the conversation, which demonstrated her professionalism and compassion for seeing beyond the diagnosis. The previous provider was not astute enough to do so or just simply not concerned.I have my pre-op scheduled for the first of July and very thankful my wife insisted on Vanderbilt and my care was assigned to Dr Kaufman!
