Ellen R. Jacobson MD

Dr Ellen Jacobson was excellent, I drove 5 hours to see her and was so happy I did. She took care of everything and was super pleasant to be around, she is a rock star!

Poor communication from the provider. Had sent a msg through my Vanderbilt app regarding unresolved skin concern with no response. Understand later provider was OOO but appears no one was assigned or monitored her inbox. Called clinic at which point she had returned and an urgent request was sent. No response until the following week from a scheduler asking me if I'd be able to come in same day. On day of visit provider came in to assess and asked whether I wanted a shot. There was no explanation or education as to what she was referring to or how this would help. She briefly discussed care plan with steroid shot and new topical cream but no instructions regarding duration etc. After leaving I read after visit summary with providers notes and care plan mentioned topical cream/steroid that was initially prescribed at first visit in addition to the new. This was not discussed in person. Since sent message to provider seeking clarification with no response. Have since called clinic to put in a message for clarification and awaiting call back.

Dr provided me a reference to another Dr for a procedure she did not have the equipment to perform.

Dr Jacobson is fantastic

She was very nice and very professional, she came in and introduced herself and shook my hand which made me feel really comfortable

Dr. Jacobson was professional and let me know what she was looking for at all times.

Dr. Jacobson is excellent. I have been seeing her for over 20 years. I was having a cancer.skin check, which was negative, thankfully. I wanted to have a few things removed, at my expense but was told that that would have to take place at the 100 Oaks location. That seems unnecessary and inconvenient.
