I visited Dr. Douglas after a 5 day emergency room stay for a conditioned that my team of doctors is still trying find a diagnosis for. Dr. Douglas is by far one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I feel very empowered to advocate for myself and my health. I deeply appreciate his thoroughness and the way he gave me tools to learn more about the test that were being performed and what my results meant. This was a very reassuring visit and I feel blessed to have been able to see him today.

Dr. Douglas was extremely kind and thoughtful. He listened to all my questions and concerns and actually seems to care which is sadly not often the case with complex medical issues (this has just been my experience but not with any Vanderbilt providers).
