This was the worst visit I have had at this clinic. The Dr completely changed from the last visit. He spent the majority of the time discussing my weight and options to losing weight, even blaming the pain from my injury on my weight instead of the actual injury, which occurred from a sports accident. Simply because I noted that there was some improvement in mobility and stiffness, he indicated that the pain from my knee came from my being overweight. I had to remind him at least twice that I was there as a result of an injury. He even recommended that I attempt some weight loss medications to help me with losing weight. According to the visit before, we were trying the shot and P/T. If the pain persisted, we were supposed to discuss our next moves from there, which we did, but then he began his lecture about my need for weight loss and an exercise program. When I mentioned that I walked each night, he literally snickered at me. I have had issues with eating disorders and body dysmorphia: This visit triggered a major traumatic response as I was completely dismissed due to my weight. Even if my weight contributes to my pain, which in this case it does not, he is only allowed a passing suggestion but not a complete dismissal of me or my pain.

I wanted to explain more about my problem, but he looked like he was in a hurry

This is not the first time we have had to see Ortho and Dr. Bills and nurse, Erin, are ALWAYS caring and prompt.

Every thing was great

Everyone there was terrific. Dr Bill's made me feel very positive about my shoulder. And with the help from all I have the confidence and faith to do my best.

Dr Bills is easy to discuss health issues with during a visit.
