Care was good given that it included flushing my tearducts repeatedly and explaining problem, but after that, I felt I needed more time to ask questions I needed answered and discuss options and explain to her unusual movement I can do with the eye which has a blocked tear duct. Felt doctor was perhaps only allowed a certain amount of time to spend with each patient.

Dr. Barahimi is one of the best doctors I've ever had the pleasure of seeing at Vanderbilt. As a scientist, I am medically adjacent, and I have more detailed questions, and like the nurse, she answered them quickly, professionally, and clearly, all with kindness. It is clear she really knows her stuff and as such, and met me where I was at (not medical, but biomedical science). So she didn't oversimplify- she used to language that I understood well. She made the adjustment about a sentence in, so I assume that she must also communicate very well with patients with no medical/medically-adjacent background. I appreciated this very much because I was able to leave with no questions, which almost never happens. I understand that this survey is about service, but she comes across as a very good person as well.
