Gilda's Gang 2015

Gilda's GangA 12-week program will prepare participants to run/walk the Country Music 1/2 Marathon on April 25, 2015. All fitness levels are welcome, and this is a great opportunity to get fit while giving back to those in Middle Tennessee who's lives have been touched by cancer. It's not too late to join the club.

One Million Strong - raising awareness of colorectal cancer

Location : Centennial Park in Nashville

One Million Strong at Centennial Park includes games, a march around Centennial Park, exhibit tables and survivor events. The campaign is inspired by the one million colorectal cancer survivors and those who’ve shown tremendous strength in light of the disease.

2015 NAMI Davidson Walk, 5K & Village

NAMIDate: Saturday, April 11, 2015
Location: Shelby Park, S. 20th Street in East Nashville
Time: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Cost: The village is free and the walk is free unless you want a t-shirt for a donation of $15, 5K entry is $25

The event raises funds to support the free support groups, education classes and advocacy work of the National Alliance on Mental Illness serving adults, children and families across all social, gender and ethnic boundaries in the Greater Nashville Area.

Stigma-free festival atmosphere with live music a Certified 5K, Community Walk and a Village of Vendors all focused on mental wellness.

Shade Tree Trot 2015

The Shade Tree Trot 5K is a chip-timed run/walk with a start/finish at the Vanderbilt football stadium. The Trot raises money for Shade Tree Clinic, a medical student run free clinic serving over 400 uninsured patients in East Nashville.

Nashville Congenital Heart Walk

The Congenital Heart Walk is a national fundraising event series benefitting the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) and The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF). We walk to honor and remember the millions who have been affected by congenital heart disease. Funds raised will support the missions of both national nonprofit organizations who are uniting to fight CHD. Since 2010, CHW has raised more than $4 million.
