Aspirin at discharge

Aspirin is beneficial because it reduces blood's tendency to clot in blood vessels of the heart. Aspirin can improve survival rates if given to patients upon discharge. This measure reports how often aspirin was prescribed to heart attack patients when they are leaving the hospital.
