3.0 Tesla High Field MRI

Hillsboro Imaging is raising the bar in Middle Tennessee by being the first to offer 3.0T MRI, considered the most advanced technology of its kind in the world. The 3.0T MRI provides superior images with shorter scan times.  Decreased scan times provides for less chance of claustrophobia and greater patient acceptance of the examination.  Image quality from this machine is superb.

Multis-Slice Spiral CT Scanner

Complementing our other advanced diagnostic capabilities, Hillsboro Imaging uses a GE Lightspeed 16-slice CT scanner. This state of the art multi-detector technology allows for 16 simultaneous images slice acquisitions and extremely fast scan times in a single breath hold. For example, a chest, abdomen, and pelvis can be scanned in less than 20 seconds. This technology allows Hillsboro Imaging to perform exquisite CT Angiography studies.
