Developmental Disabilities
Using speech and language therapy, the Developmental Disabilities Team serves children with developmental disabilities who struggle with speech and language due to physical and/or mental impairments. This includes, but is not limited to, children with cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes such as Down Syndrome and Opitz Syndrome, mental retardation, and severe apraxia of speech. We serve children with mild to severe delays, and therapy is tailored to each child’s needs.
